Both Eastern and Western monarch butterflies are seeing their populations plummet precipitously, worrying scientists that the future of the species is in peril, according to multiple surveys of butterfly populations. In other news, hemp and veggies soon to grow organically on Bethlehem Authority land in Pennsylvania Poconos. The authority will lease nearly 300 acres it owns in Monroe County to Pocono Organics, an organic regenerative farm in Long Pond, in Tunkhannock Township.
