Organic Valley, a leading voice in the nation’s organic dairy industry, sees an opportunity to regain political ground that it says was lost over the past four years. A flurry of interest groups are now lobbying President-elect Joe Biden’s administration and are seeking clarity on what new congressional leadership could mean for them. However, it’s important that consumers recognize the many ways that organic agriculture is having a positive impact on the health of humans and the planet they call home. The coronavirus pandemic has led to surging demand for organic food and products. To help farmers take advantage of that interest, a handful of organizations has joined forces to present a six-day virtual conference offering the latest information on organic and sustainable farming. The Growing Stronger Collaborative Conference takes place online from February 22 through 27.
